Read feeds from European newspapers — such as Le Monde and El Pais — in English, using Gentle Readers machine translate feature. *Update to a subscription plan and choose your own non-english feeds into English.
Gentle Reader is designed for serious readers. Our news app offers you clean content with no adverts or irrelevant content. You can discover new articles through our matching feature which identifies articles you may like which have been bookmarked by other Gentle Reader users but without exchanging personal information.
Once you have downloaded the app, you can either sign up as a guest, using your twitter account or with an email address. It is as simple as adding your favourite feeds and/or publications and then you are ready to go!

In-app purchases
-Gentle Reader offers translation on choose your own sources into English (Two subscriptions options for 10 or 100 translated feeds)
Gentle Reader offers premium feeds which is content you may pay for elsewhere, which you can now integrate and pull in to one central place in the app. When subscribing the price and details will be shown along with the duration.
-Subscription/s also provide you with Text2Speech / Gentle Reader will read your Bookmarked article/s to you (e.g. when your travelling, running or just want to give your eyes a break)
- Premium feeds are clearly labelled and will show a price in £ next to the publication name
- The Length of subscription is indicated either as Monthly or Yearly auto-renewing depending on your selection
- The payment for the subscription/s will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of - purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal
- Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the users Account Settings after purchase
